I was a sophomore in high school and Sean was a freshman.  The first time we laid eyes on each other was one day after school.  I will never forget his smile that day.  It was a typical school day at DV, when my friends and I were offered a ride home from one of Sean’s friends.  We gladly accepted the offer and am I glad we did.

Shortly after meeting each other, one Saturday evening while gabbing away on the phone (about Sean of course) to a friend, I receive a call from the one and only.  As you can imagine, I was so excited but I did take the call.  By the end of our conversation, we were officially boyfriend & girlfriend. 

I will never forget that day, Saturday, February 8, 1997.  Who knew that a ride home from school would turn into a proposal and marriage on Monday, December 8, 2008.
